Well, that escalated quickly.

Our relatively balmy November turned quickly to a chilly snowy mess Wednesday.

November in the Twin Cities and much of Minnesota was running 7.5 degrees warmer than normal through Tuesday. That trend came to an abrupt halt as colder air poured south, courtesy of our Canadian neighbors.

Highs the next several days will run mostly in the 30s to around 40 degrees across Minnesota.

Right now, the weather maps look mainly dry into Thanksgiving week. The European and American models hint at slight chances for light snow, but no significant storms over the next week or so.

Thanksgiving week looks similarly cold with highs most in the 30s across Minnesota.
