Temperatures will be 5 to 15 degrees above normal all week. The next storm system by the end of the week will bring rain to Minnesota Friday into Saturday.
Very mild week with rain by Friday
It’ll be a relatively mild night for southern Minnesota with lows in the low to mid 20s, closer to normal highs. There will be freezing fog possible in northern Minnesota along with colder temperatures due to some clear breaks and deeper snowpack.
Tuesday and Wednesday will be very mild once again with highs back in the 30s for southern Minnesota. We’ll be mostly cloudy, however, with just some occasional sun breaking out.
By the end of the week, the next storm system will bring rain showers as we’ll see the warmest temperatures of the week Friday into Saturday. Up to one-quarter inch of rain could fall for many areas.
Highs Friday will be in the low 40s across southern Minnesota with upper 30s likely even in northern Minnesota.
