Mild weather continues the rest of the week. The next storm system will bring rain Friday into Saturday.
Mild temperatures continue with rain developing end of week
Fog and haze will persist much of Wednesday thanks to melting snow and warm air sitting over the snow cover.
Highs Wednesday will be near or above freezing across much of the state.
Thursday will be much of the same, but temperatures will be even warmer Friday and Saturday — into the low 40s across southern Minnesota.
The next system comes in bringing rain showers Friday into Saturday for much of the state. Some snow could mix into the rain as colder air moves in.
A widespread rainfall is expected. Much of the eastern two-thirds of Minnesota will see more than one-quarter inch of rain. Some slushy snowfall accumulation is possible north Saturday night into Sunday.
There are signs of colder air finally moving in for the middle of next week. Temperatures will return to normal or slightly below normal levels into the 20s and teens for highs.
