Some Minnesota farmers are on edge as drought conditions creep through the state

Moisture-starved, hardened soil is difficult for farmers to plow. Instead of breaking into small particles, the soil often cracks apart in big chunks. About two-thirds of the state is experiencing abnormally dry conditions or some level of drought.
