Singers and dancers brave heat as Prairie Island hosts annual powwow
Dancers compete in an evening dance exhibition during the Tinta Wita Wacipi powwow on Friday at Prairie Island Indian Community. The annual powwow, hosted by the Prairie Island Indian Community, brought together Native dancers, singers and families from across the region to celebrate Indigenous culture, traditions and community.
