Ten years ago this month, eight Cambodian-Minnesotans were detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Their families rallied around them. And an organization named Minnesota8 formed around efforts to release these men and bring them home.

Ten years later, their work has far from slowed down. MN8 will host a 10-year anniversary gala Thursday, Sept. 24.
