Soul Asylum’s 2012 “Delayed Reaction” album featured the song "Into the Light," which lead vocalist Dave Pirner says is about house training. The chorus refers to breaking a horse.
"It's about growing up, I guess, and trying to stay wild and be domesticated all at the same time,” Pirner told The Current Morning Show in 2012.
The band that started in Minneapolis more than 30 years ago will perform on Friday at First Avenue.
