COVID-19 vaccines for kids ages 5 to 11 are here, and doctor’s offices and clinics across the state are busy giving shots.

But not all parents are rushing to get kids vaccinated, and for some its a struggle to get it done.

Host Cathy Wurzer talked with Dr. Nathan Chomilo about what it will take to ensure the majority of kids ages 5 to 11 are protected. Chomilo is a pediatrician at Park Nicollet Brookdale and senior equity adviser to the Commissioner of the Minnesota Department of Health. He’s also a board member for the Minnesota chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
