Minneapolis is home to several influential literary organizations, such as the Loft Literary Center, the Minnesota Center for Book Arts and Rain Taxi. They have created a potent environment for local literary development.

There are also several small but highly regarded literary presses in the Twin Cities. These include Coffee House Press, Milkweed Editions and Graywolf Press.

The director and publisher of Graywolf Press, Fiona McCrae, recently announced her retirement. McCrae is not leaving until next summer, but before she fills her schedule to prepare to step down, she sat down with host Cathy Wurzer to talk about her wildly successful 27 years growing Graywolf.
