One of our goals on Minnesota Now is to tell your stories — the stories of our listeners. On Thursday, we took you inside the Richfield home of Brendan and Jocelyn Kennealy as they care for their two young daughters, both of whom tested positive for COVID-19 last week. Hazel is three, and Ivy is almost one.

The family graciously gave us a look at what they have been dealing with as Brendan and Jocelyn balance work and the unique challenges of having kids with COVID-19. Step into their week with this audio diary.

“There are … families that don’t take (COVID-19) seriously, and that’s really hard, to know that even despite our best efforts, it can still happen to your family,” Jocelyn said.

Since appearing on Minnesota Now, Jocelyn Kennealy shared on Twitter that she has now tested positive for COVID-19.
