Minnesota has won the first ever Walter Cup championship Wednesday night in the Professional Women’s Hockey League. Minnesota was dominant in all phases of the game, beating Boston 3-0 in the fifth and deciding game of the championship series.
The Timberwolves, again, must win to keep their season alive tonight. The Wolves host the Dallas Mavericks in Game 5 of a best-of-seven playoff series.
And today marks the second anniversary of the tornado that ripped through the small town of Forada, just south of Alexandria.
