Alex is an award-winning journalist from Minneapolis. She has covered arts and culture for more than a decade with stories published in the New York Times, Fast Company, Hyperallergic, AFAR and BUST. She lives in Powderhorn Park with two cats, a dog and a banjo-playing partner.
