Meet Anika Besst
Anika Besst is a temporary associate producer/reporter for MPR News.
Before joining MPR News, Anika was editor-in-chief at Hamline University’s student newspaper, The Oracle. Her work has been published in the Christian Science Monitor and the Sahan Journal.
Anika graduated from Hamline University in St. Paul where she studied theater arts and journalism with an emphasis in social justice.
Anika grew up in a suburb of the Twin Cities. She enjoys kayaking with her parents, sisters and corgi. She also enjoys the beginning of Minnesota's summer when monarch caterpillars begin to hatch and grow in her pollinator garden.
