Meet Lisa Ryan

Lisa Ryan is the evening editor for MPR News. She moved to Minnesota in August 2022, just in time for the State Fair.

Previously, she worked as a health reporter at Ideastream Public Media in Cleveland, Ohio. She’s also worked as a reporter and host at public media stations in Illinois and Indiana.

Lisa went to school for broadcast journalism and political science at Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana, and she has a master's degree in public affairs reporting from the University of Illinois Springfield.
