
Meet Perry Finelli
Perry Finelli is an afternoon/evening newscaster and evening host for MPR News.
Perry started at MPR News in Collegeville as a reporter/host in 1986. In 1989, Perry moved to MPR headquarters in St. Paul where he has worked for MPR News as a newscaster, host and reporter.
Before joining MPR News, Perry was an anchor/reporter at KIMT-TV in Mason City, Iowa.
Perry graduated from St. Cloud State University with a bachelor’s degree in TV/radio broadcasting and a minor in political science.
He and his wife, Ann, love to travel. In Minnesota, they spend time camping, hiking and cross-country skiing.
