Guard soldiers deployed to Afghanistan
The Minnesota National Guard held a deployment ceremony Thursday at the Cedar Street Armory in St. Paul honoring 12 soldiers heading to Afghanistan for a year-long tour of duty.
Minnesota's Wildcat Sanctuary
Lions, tigers, and leopards are a few of the breeds housed at the Wildcat Sanctuary in Sandstone, Minn. The sanctuary is closed to the public and is solely funded by private funds. Since it's not open to the public, most of the donors will never see the cats in person.
