Photos: A heavy, wet storm hits Minnesota
The snowstorm hit later than originally forecast, but brought plenty of pain -- and some fun -- Thursday afternoon and on into the day on Friday. All through southern and eastern Minnesota, snow slowed traffic, brought down power lines, closed schools and lured children out to play.
