The State of Minnesota has a new coronavirus ad campaign in the works — to the tune of $9 million. The goal is to promote different options for getting tested and get more information out on how to prevent the spread of the virus. The Hennepin County judge overseeing the trial of four former police officers charged in the killing of George Floyd last month warned elected officials against making public statements about the merits of the case, saying they endanger the defendants’ right to a fair trial and could lead to a change in venue.
