It's a Halloween tradition on the Current Morning Show to play the 8 minute, album version of "D.O.A." It's one of the creepiest songs in music history as the narrator describes his own slow, bleeding death. File this song under the "splatter platter" genre.
Not to be outdone by her younger sister, St. Paul has named a citizen committee to advise the city on its new sports facility. Appropriately enough, it’s the Lowertown Ballpark Design and Construction Committee. Here’s the list: Julio Fesser, Securian Roger Nielson, Master Framers Andrew Remke, Black Dog Cafe Jack Gerten, Farmer’s Market Jim Ivey,…
The Monkees finally had creative control over their music and even played the instruments on this record. We played a song used as a closing credits tune on The Monkees TV show, "For Pete's Sake."
Kris Kristofferson is credited with "discovering" John Prine. Not only is he a great songwriter, he's enjoyed an acting career as well. On the cover of this record he's pictured with his second wife, Rita Coolidge.
