Early voting is underway for Minnesota's primary election. On Aug. 13, in person voters will determine which Democratic and Republican candidates will be on the ballot for the general election on Nov. 5.

MPR News reached out to all candidates, providing a three-question survey for them to fill out and inform voters about who they are and their priorities if elected.

The only candidate running in the DFL primary election is Jay Xiong (incumbent).
