Tim Brewster has been hired as the next head coach of the University of Minnesota football team. He will replace Glen Mason who was let go after the Gopher's historic collapse in the Insight Bowl last month.
Brewster is currently the tight end coach for the Denver Broncos of the NFL. His college coaching experience includes stints at the University of Texas and the University of North Carolina. His only head coaching experience came at a high school in Indiana.
Cathy Wurzer talked with Jeff Legwold, who covers the Denver Broncos for the Rocky Mountain News, about the University's new head football coach.
