A couple of Minnesota musicians fared well at Sunday night's Grammy Awards. Bob Dylan won two awards, and Semisonic front-man Dan Wilson picked up a Grammy along with the Dixie Chicks. Wilson co-wrote several songs on their latest album, including the Song of the Year, "Not Ready To Make Nice."
The song is a not-so-veiled "told you so" to Dixie Chicks critics, who blasted the Texas trio for their open opposition to the Iraq war and to President Bush.
Dan Wilson was nominated for a Grammy for Semisonic's 1999 hit "Closing Time."
MPR's Tom Crann reached Dan Wilson in Los Angeles and asked the songwriter from Minneapolis what it is like to finally win the award.
