Think your boss is a good leader? Recent studies indicate many of us aren't too impressed with the leadership in the corner office. Some of the dissatisfaction can be traced to corporate scandals over the past few years. The former CEO of Minnesota-based Medtronic, Bill George is helping to develop the next generation of leaders.
Mr. George left Medtronic in 2002, and now teaches at the Harvard Business School. His new book on leadership is called "True North," and George says some of the problem can be traced to a wrong-headed notion of what leadership is.
