The Minnesota Twins are now locked into a 30-year lease at their new ballpark in downtown Minneapolis. The deal sets the team up to receive nearly all the revenue generated within the park when it opens in 2010. That includes money from ticket sales, advertising, stadium naming rights, tours, and concessions.
MPR's Cathy Wurzer talked about this deal with senior editor of Forbes Magazine, Michael Ozanian, who worked on a special report called "The Business of Baseball."
