Snow plows wait for storm
MnDOT is preparing for a winter storm that forecasters say will bring more than six inches of snow to the region.

The winter storm forecast to hit Minnesota on Saturday is poised to drop more than six inches of snow. Keeping the roads open is a big job.

Kent Barnard is an information officer for MnDOT and he also works as a snow plow operator. He spoke with All Things Considered host Tom Crann about how the Department of Transportation is preparing to keep the roads open during the storm.
