With just two months until the November election, Sen. Norm Coleman is laying out his priorities as he heads back to Washington for the final few weeks of Congress.
Coleman says more than anything else, he'd like to see Congress pass an energy bill that allows more offshore drilling.
Coleman is part of a group of 16 Republican and Democratic senators pushing a bill that would use proceeds from drilling leases to funnel dollars into more research into renewable and alternative fuels.

Minnesota Democrats say Coleman lacks credibility on energy issues because he's taken a large amount of campaign donations from oil companies.
Coleman's likely Democratic opponent, Al Franken, is also talking to the press Monday. He's unveiling a plan at the University of Minnesota to give a tax credit aimed at helping families afford college tuition.
