Pumpkinseed
The Pumpkinseed is a colorful sunfish. It can be found in lakes and streams throughout Minnesota, although it is rare in the Arrowhead Region. Its name refers to its body shape, which resembles the shape of a pumpkin seed.

Rainbow Trout
Rainbow trout are found throughout Minnesota except in the far southwestern corner. The species is native to the West Coast. In the United States, it has been more widely stocked than any other fish species.
