In 2002, the bodies of Dan O'Connell and intern James Ellison were found inside the O'Connell Funeral Home in Hudson. The case went unsolved for years, but eventually suspicion fell on a local priest. The priest was not charged, but hanged himself during the investigation.
The story intrigued Rob Hahn, who fictionalized the events in "The Funeral Home Murders." Hahn says the lingering questions caught his attention.
