Members of Minnesota's Electoral College will meet Monday to cast the state's official public ballots for President-elect Barack Obama and Vice President-elect Joe Biden.
The ceremony is set for noon in the State Capitol Rotunda.
Secretary of State Mark Ritchie will preside over the ceremony, which will include members of a U.S. Army Color Guard.
Minnesota has 10 Electoral College votes - and all of them are awarded to the ticket that wins the popular vote.
According to the U.S. Constitution, electors in each state meet on this date to select the president and vice president of the United States.
Minnesota's 2008 electors this year are from the Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party.
