Among the people disappointed with Barack Obama's choice of Rick Warren to give the invocation on Innaguration Day is Amy Johnson. She is the brand new executive director of Minnesota's biggest gay and lesbian equality organization -- OutFront Minnesota.
Johnson is a lawyer in Minneapolis and the former president of the National Lesbian and Gay Law Association. She made her first day on the job a big one -- announcing that OutFront will agressively push to legalize same-sex marriage in Minnesota.
DFL State Senator John Marty says he'll introduce such legislation in 2009 and expects hearings on the issue. Tom Crann Amy Johnson if same-sex marriage has become OutFront's top issue.
