GOP Sen. David Hann is asking the Legislative Auditor to investigate Democratic Attorney General Lori Swanson's office renovations. The renovations cost $400 thousand in taxpayer money and included a $15,000 installation of soundproof doors. Hann issued the letter after seeing the WCCO report and hearing Swanson's explanation to reporters (which you could listen to here). Legislative Auditor James Nobles said he will include Hann's request in his regular audit of the Attorney General's office which Nobles said will occur in May.
