A Ramsey County sheriff's deputy will be laid to rest Friday.
A car accidentally struck 56-year-old Mike Wilken Saturday night while he was volunteering on traffic detail at Fright Farm in Maplewood.
Investigators say alcohol and speed do not appear to be factors. Police say the driver is cooperating with the investigation and has not been arrested.
The Ramsey County Sheriff's Office says Wilken will be laid to rest in a "line of duty" funeral Friday at St. Andrew's Lutheran Church in Mahtomedi. It will be followed by a law enforcement procession to the cemetery.
