Police at the University of Minnesota have issued a crime alert after four robberies in the Marcy-Holmes neighborhood near the East Bank campus.
In a statement issued Monday, police said the four incidents happened between 10 p.m. and 2 a.m. as university students walked through the neighborhood.
The suspects assaulted the victims, who lost wallets, credit cards, cash and cell phones.
Police urged students not to walk alone and not to carry too many valuables.
