Prices wars worry independent booksellers

Small, independent bookstores already had it hard.

There was the rise of big chains and online booksellers. Then came the recession. And now Wal-Mart, Target and Amazon.com are engaged in an all-out book price war, selling hot titles at below wholesale prices.

Independent bookstore owners Susie Fruncillo and Chris Livingston say there is no way they can follow suit.

They spoke with MPR's Cathy Wurzer.
