Sure speeding is illegal, but when Minnesota Viking's running back Adrian Peterson was caught driving 109 mph last Saturday, what he might not have realized is that he was breaking another recent Minnesota State law.
The statute states that "A driver's license will be revoked for at least six months for driving over 100 miles per hour."
So, if Peterson is convicted he could lose his license.
State Sen. Steve Murphy, who represents Red Wing, Minn., is the author of the bill and he joined Tom Crann to talk about the law and what might happen.
