Two Wahpeton-area mission workers who survived the Haiti earthquake have returned home.
Wahpeton nurse Brenda Marzigliano and Georgia Dufault, a former Breckenridge, Minn., resident who now works in Moorhead, were stationed at a hospital about 80 miles north of Port-au-Prince when the quake hit.
Dufault and Marzigliano helped treat more than two dozen patients before being evacuated last Friday. They say the evacuation involved treacherous bus rides through the mountains to the neighboring Dominican Republic and then a flight to Miami.
Dufault says they feel "extremely blessed." ---
