Kenyan runner wins Grandma's Marathon in Duluth

A runner from Ethiopia has won the women's title of the Grandma's Marathon in Duluth.
The Duluth News Tribune reports 22-year-old Buzenush Deba finished with an unofficial time of 2 hours, 31 minutes, 35 seconds - a personal best.
The winner of the men's race Saturday morning was 36-year-old Philemon Kemboi of Kenya, who finished in 2 hours, 15 minutes, 44 seconds.
Kenyan runners also won the Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon. Twenty-eight-year-old Stephen Muange finished in an unofficial 1 hour, 4 minutes and 24 seconds. In the women's half marathon, Caroline Rotich won in 1 hour, 12 minutes and 40 seconds. Both of the half marathon winners live and train in New Mexico.
