Floods in Pakistan, India, and China have killed thousands of people. Rain is in the forecast again for the next few days. It's monsoon season in that part of the world, but the rains have been particularly heavy this year.
MPR's Phil Picardi spoke with Minnesota Public Radio meteorologist Paul Huttner about why the monsoon season is hitting so hard.
