2010 was a challenging year on many fronts, and though the Twin Cities theater scene certainly had its share of travails, there were some bright spots along the way.

MPR's Cathy Wurzer spoke with St. Paul Pioneer Press theater critic Dominic Papatola for some perspective on the year that was and some thoughts on what 2011 might bring to local stages. Papatola is also a program officer for the Otto Bremer Foundation.
