The Republicans getting ready to steer the Minnesota Legislature are providing a preview of the upcoming session.
The top four GOP leaders were to go before reporters Wednesday to offer a rundown of their agenda. Republicans hold both chambers for the first time in decades, but they'll have to deal with a Democratic governor.
It's a complete flip from the current alignment where Democrats run the Legislature and a Republican is Minnesota's governor.
The 2011 session starts Tuesday. It will be dominated by debate over a massive budget deficit.
Buffalo state Sen. Amy Koch and Maple Grove Rep. Kurt Zellers will hold the most powerful Senate and House positions.
