Sheila Wright is the new director of the Minnesota Office of Higher Education, a cabinet level position that administers $150 million in need-based education grants, and serves as a clearinghouse for higher education research.
Prior to her appointment last month, Sheila Wright was the dean of Hamline University's School of Education. She has also served as associate dean of academic programs at Saint Xavier University in Chicago and she also taught at Minnesota State University, Mankato and Carleton College in Northfield.
She's chatting today with MPR's Gary Eichten about the cost of education, accessibility, education politics and more.
