Gov. Mark Dayton and some state lawmakers say they're open to the idea of using state legacy amendment funds to help finance a new Vikings stadium. But others object. The Minnesota Historical Society says the idea is contrary to the amendment's language. That language says proceeds from the arts and cultural fund "may be spent only on arts, arts education and arts access to preserve Minnesota's history and cultural heritage."
