Minnesota Republican Sen. Dave Thompson's "right-to-work" bill passed the Senate Judiciary Committee this week. The bill would allow citizens to vote on a constitutional amendment that would ban requiring workers to join unions and pay dues.
Indiana became the 23rd state to pass right to work legislation last month. The proposed Minnesota law would loosely be based on Indiana's bill. What impact will these laws have on Minnesota and the country?
