Four days before the election, Minnesota for Marriage is releasing two new television ads. The campaign to define marriage as a man and a woman in the state constitution has spent $3 million on ads.
The ads take a soft and hard approach to convincing voters to back the marriage amendment.
In the first ad, eight women explain that you can be kind to gay people and still vote for the amendment banning same-sex marriage.
"We can support gays and lesbians without changing marriage," a woman says in the ad.

The second contains the sound of shattered glass, illustrating what the ads says are broken promises that same-sex marriage won't change society.
Minnesotans United for All Families, the main group working to defeat the amendment, said in a statement that claims in the ads are false and misleading, and that the amendment would exclude some Minnesotans from the freedom to marry just because of who they are.
Minnesotans United is running its own television ads, the latest features Republican Rep. John Kriesel urging Minnesotans to vote no.
