5 debates in 3 weeks for Minneapolis mayoral candidates

The five leading DFL candidates for Minneapolis mayor, including Mark Andrew, Betsy Hodges, Gary Schiff, Jackie Cherryhomes and Don Samuels, left to right, debate Wednesday, Mar. 27, 2013 at the University of Minnesota Humphrey School of Public Affairs. Hodges, Schiff and Samuels are current city council members. Cherryhomes is a former city council president, and Andrew is a former Hennepin County Board chair.

The candidates for mayor of Minneapolis will be seeing a lot of each other over the next three weeks. They have five debates scheduled before Minneapolis DFLers try to decide which of them to endorse on June 15. Because of the proximity to the party's convention, most of the forums include only the DFL candidates.
