MNsure has granted a brief extension to customers who had trouble enrolling in the insurance marketplace over the weekend.
MNsure CEO Scott Leitz announced Monday a special enrollment period that begins Tuesday, Feb. 17, and runs through Friday, Feb. 20.
The enrollment extension only applies to people who created a MNsure account and were in line to enroll at midnight on February 15.
MNsure officials say customers qualify as "in line" if they submitted a paper application, submitted a manual identity proofing request, created an account, or filled out an application but didn't complete an enrollment.
Customers who are seeking coverage that begins March 1 must complete their MNsure enrollment by 5 p.m. on Friday.
