The University of Minnesota Golden Gopher women's basketball team plays Ohio State tonight in the Big Ten tournament.

Meanwhile, the men's team lost yesterday against the University of Wisconsin Badgers 76-63. The team is on the outside looking in when it comes to making the NCAA tournament later this month.

MPR's Cathy Wurzer spoke with Howard Sinker, a digital sports editor for the Star Tribune, about both Gopher basketball programs.
