The Minnesota Twins are looking for a new executive vice president to oversee the team's personnel decisions.
On Monday, the Twins fired Terry Ryan who has held that position since 2011. It was Ryan's second stint in that role. He was also the team's general manager from 1994 to 2007.
Rob Antony will be in charge on an interim basis while the Twins search for a new leader.
MPR's Cathy Wurzer spoke with Howard Sinker, a digital sports editor for the Star Tribune, about Ryan's firing.
