The head of the Environmental Protection Agency, Scott Pruitt, said it's difficult to tell how much carbon dioxide (CO2) is contributing to global warming during a CNBC interview.
However, scientists have long believed that the release of CO2 into the air through human activities is a primary cause of global warming.
MPR's chief meteorologist Paul Huttner spoke to University of St. Thomas professor John Abraham about the rise of CO2 in the atmosphere and what that means.
