Tax reform is a top priority for Congressional Republicans this fall. Their party controls the House, Senate and Executive Office, but that doesn't mean that passing a tax reform bill will be easy.

It's been more than 30 years since the last significant reform to the tax code, there are significant divisions within the party and the Congressional schedule is packed.

In spite of all of that, U.S. Congressman Tom Emmer, who represents Minnesota's 6th District, is hopeful. He joined MPR News Host Kerri Miller in studio to discuss his ideas on tax reform.
